Well the question now is which route do I take next? I really want to focus on the exterior so I can get the looks I want, then suspension overhaul, then an engine build and all the problems that come with that. But I know a lot of people are more about performance than looks, but if I get it the way I want it to look, I'll be more likely to not convince myself out of keeping it. However, saving for the awesomeness of a supercharger would be fun as well, but I'd have to leave the car alone for the next 1+ year just to save the money for it. Gah, so many options.

That's exactly why I threw exterior parts at mine. If I get it looking how I want I will keep it around longer. It's worked till now but I've had this style of mustang for 10 yrs now and I'm ready for a change. Just got my dd a few days ago and I've had a ton of interest in my car to this point. Looking like a mystic cobra will be in my future soon.

I showed my car to someone yesterday. It's a pretty bittersweet moment. They already Txted me today to ask more questions and I got a feeling he's gonna get it. It's going to be a sad day to watch it leave but at the same time it will let me get into a different project! Oh and my dd is averaging 32mpg at the moment so it's nice to not have to worry about fuel as much along with only needing 87 and not 93 everytime.

Well best of luck. Unfortunately I could probably only get about $6k out of my car and thats just not really worth it for the money I've put in recently.

Yep, you'll never get out what you put in unless it's a rare car or you're doing a restoration of a sought after car, and even that is risky.

You gotta ask yourself what you want out of a car. If you love the 99-04 body enough to have one for a long period of time then put the money into it. If not you will take a big hit on it selling it soon after doing anything big to it.

The 99-04 is my favorite body style. I could see myself keeping one around for a very long time, and the 02 was the first car I ever bought myself. So, it will be the one I keep. I actually want another to turn into a drag car.

I have a sale pending on mine already but that means I'll be able to get my mystic that I've wanted. Now that my car isn't my dd I was looking for something you don't see everyday and that is what I think of with the mystic. The car I'm looking at only has 77k and only Cai and exhaust so it's as close to stock as u can find.

I think that when I stop getting so many compliments on the looks and sound of my car I will seriously consider selling.....
