Anyone have any input on this? How do I go about doing it? I'm considering it because it'll free up room, my arms can take the workout, I'm fed up with the leaking and I'm all for more fun driving. I have a 91 gt 5.0HO sitting in the garage waiting to go in. Right now I'm just gathering info and parts for the swap, and I think now would be a good time to eliminate the p/s.

I am eliminating the P/S on my EFI motor too. I've already got manual steering and don't feel like getting all the extra P/S stuff along with pluming the lines and stuff. Besides, with no P/S or A/C I can pick up a little power and will have less stuff in the engine compartment to work around.

If you have to replace your tie-rods you may want to consider just purchasing a manual drag link instead of the P/S adaptor. You can then install a Quick Steering kit.

I did this for $40, the cost of a m/s centerlink and pitman arm. Much more economical than the $120 'adaptor'

So after I rip all the lines, the pump, the piston, and all that crap out of there all I need to put in is a m/s centerlink and pitman arm? Is that all?
