Guys,
I still have the original windshield in my 94 cobra and it unfortunately has a lot of very minor pits that in direct sunlight really screw with your vision. I know I could just replace it but was wondering if there's some kind of filler or resin that would help reduce or eliminate these pains. Also getting a lot of reflections in the windshield from the dash. Last owner was an armorall freak. Any tips on best "matte" finish protectant? Thanks
Replace the windshield is your best bet. As far as best 'matte' finish I like this one. http://www.autogeek.net/303aerprot.html
It also has the best UV protectant on the market.
Do you have glass coverage on your insurance policy? I do, and its no deductable. When I can't see out my window due to sandblasting, or rock chips they replace it for me. If any of my windows get broken, even if it is accidental it is covered.
