Not to familiar with this procedure, I have a 98 cobra, I was told that I will gain on the top end but my low end will suffer, will changing to 4:10/4:30's solve that problem . is it worth it. What king of gains will I see and what price will I be looking at ????

If I had to guess that might help some, but I was told to leave them on if the engine is still pretty stock, and NA. I want to say something like a 40 FT LB loss in torque? Correct me guys if I am wrong. You could try cleaning them! You should be able to find out how if you search, I remember seeing it here somewhere. My imrc's drive me nuts sometimes, but I guess they are there for a reason. Good luck

Agreed
They are needed - it is far better to clean them once a yr then to eliminate them. SOme people delete them because it is a possible failure point, but to each his own

If you get a proper tune it is worth 7-8 hp peak, but you loose a lot down low. To me it is not worth the trouble. If you are supercharged and have ported heads, intake, and shorter intake runners then you would see more from it.
