Hi I have a 1998 cobra that has a imrc actuator problem from what I am gathering there is not a replacement available this seems crazy to me does anyone know of any options here for me I thought about delete plates but I don't know much about them Like what they will do to my gas mileage and drivability any input will be appreciated.

If you're sure it's an actuator problem and you can't find one then you have no choice but to eliminate the actuator. You can either install delete plates or half-ass it and wire the existing open. I have a 97 and one of the cables popped off the rod in the IMRC plate. It didn't throw any codes but it ran like poop. I would be certain that it was bad before eliminating the IMRC system because even though it's a poorly designed electro-mechanical system,.... It does work when it works. Gas mileage is another story. It's a Cobra, not a prius. I doubt mileage would be affected much, but I could be wrong. Low end (under about 4 grand) will suffer. Just me 2 cents.

Well I found a actuator and installed it they are both working correctly now but I have another problem in first and second gear the car looses power around six thousand but in third gear it runs to seven thousand and seems to have no problem.
