I have 96 cobra.If my Imrc aren't opening up,Will my check engine light come on?If so,What engine code will it read?Any info. is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes the cel will come on. One good way to see this is with the car idling, go and check the 2 main black cables that go into the back of the intake. Then rev the motor(you have to get past 3250 rpms so may want a friend to do this) and when it hits 3250 rpms those cables should move.
