There are numerous units out there. Your dash takes a single DIN size unit , but you can get "install kits" that will allow you to install a "Din and 1/2". Still there are units that store a double DIN touch screen inside and it slides out and flips out automatically.
Go to a car stereo store, or the car audio department of like a Best Buy for help. They can help you.

Relocate ur stereo up to replace the AC dash vents, and get a flip out screen. I made a bracket basing it of the autometer gauge cage and moved my radio up top. Much better access

Do you mean you moved the AC controls down and put the radio above them or did you actually put a radio where the dash vents are? I haven't seen that done before. Pics please!

Cool, it worked .. well, as u can see... my AC vents are gone. I have no AC controls under the gauges either. That's a Scott rod panel that is currently empty faced under those three gauges. Right now, thatradio frame looks a bit rough cuz I made it 5 years ago.. I need to make a nice new smoother one

That is a much more convenient place for the radio. Radio behind the shifter was not one of the smartest ideas we've seen Ford come up with. I need my vents though so wouldn't work for me. I've been looking into putting a double-din into the original location. I've heard of people relocating the AC controls to the bottom and putting the radio above them. Just not sure how much fab work would be required to move the controls. I've heard varying responses as to whether a double-din will fit in the original radio location or not. My understanding is it might not fit because of the trans tunnel.

To the OP, I think any flip-out screen will fit in the original location.

One of my favorites I've seen, except I wouldn't of gone with that double din radio. But the frame is great and the a/c relocation is probably the smart thing to do since the shifter is always hitting (especially if you've got an automatic).
