Hey Guys,
Getting my car back together and I have hacked up my original
crossmember to hold the t5. looks sloppy. I know Vince "the fabricator"
used to visit boards and sell a custom crossmember. Don't think he sells
them anymore but he may have posted a CAD file for measurements. Does
anyone have this?

thanks
andy

Are you using the RAD-4 bellhousing or fox T5 bell? The crossmembers I designed were for use with the RAD-4 bell. All the "production" crossmembers are gone but I did find one of the prototype versions a while back. If you're interested, give me your email address and we can work out the details. I'm holding on to the CAD drawings though.

Vince,
I had the t5 bell but recently aquired the MII smaller bellhousing, and flywheel. I am swithching over for header clearance, move shifter back etc. I kinda hacked up my original crossmember first time around. If you could help me out it would be great. astash@northstate.net

Vince,
I friend of mine and I both have Cobra II's with the RAD-4 bellhousing. We want to change out the 4 speed transmission for a T-5 and are interested in the specs for the crossmembers you designed. Any information that you could provide would be of great assistance in our efforts to construct our own and much appreciated.

you can click on his name and it will show you an option to send him
a pm (personal/private message)..
also next to his name states that he lives in canada.
Vince is a cool dude, but seems pretty busy lately so dont take offence if he doesnt respond right away..im sure you will hear from him soon.

Take a look at mustangii.net. It explains how far back the crossmember needs to move.
