Hey Guys, I Just Redone My 351 Cleveland And Am Putting It Back In With Set Of Long Tube Hedders.the Motor Hooks To A Top Loader. Is There A Easy Way Get The Thing In??????? I Would Appreciate Any Advise. Thanks Seedog//////////////////////////////////////////////////////

set the headers in the car and hold them inplace with coat hangers. as you lower the motor in the chassis, move the headers around so the engine slides into place. as for the tranny, get a pair of long bolts, about 6" will do just fine, cut off the bolt head and cut a slot in the freshly cut end. run these bolts in place on the top bolt holes for the trans. slide the trans on the bolts, leaving the trans in a gear(any gear will do) slide the trans forward and turn the output shaft untill the input shaft splines line up with the splines in the clutch disc, then just slide the trans home. you may have to move the tail shaft up or down a bit to get the nose of the input shaft to slide into the pilot bushing. take your time and DONT force anything.
