What did you use to take the hose the screw under the egr valve?if im putting the 93 cobra intake on will i need to reuse it?

need help with disconnecting fuel lines,how do i disconnect it.do i put the tool on the rubber to pull the hose off.any help will be greatful

slide the tool in the opening on the rail side of that fitting, then pull out on the rubber side of the line......

You don't have to disconnect the fuel lines from the rail. Just move it out of the way. Lay the new intake down then put the rails on. Quicker, easier and less mess.

After spending a hour on it,that is what i decided to do.So now i have the everything off except the lower intake i forgot to drain to coolant.What is a quick way to drain it? and i heard that there is a coolant line that i should not hook up to the nipple sticking out of cobra intake.Any tips for me from where am at.The intake i have is a 93 cobra intake.

Take the thermo housing off and the undo the metal coolant lines that feed back to the heater core...it'll be a mess but that'll drain the coolant...

What's the skinny on the nipple and feeding coolant to the upper???? is this the lower or upper your talking about??

Soon as I read your post I knew that's what you where refering to....You got that info from the 5.0 tech forum....Its not an issue for a SN95...we have no such line...
On that 2nd pic in that post you can either plug it....or use it to REPLACE the vac line that USED to feed your oil fill vent....depending on your valve covers..

The O-Ring is for the dizzy...lube it with Vaseline or such and install....

Blue ends seals go front/rear to seal it...

You can see one here...make sure its CLEAN where it lay's down, RTV the corners where it meets the heads to seal that area..

My bad....The diamond shaped gasket is for the IAC valve....

Yes it USE to plug into the vac tree on your stock intake...You need to feed it vacuum somehow....Easy way would be a Tee off the FRP feed or use one of the small tubes on the vac tree under the upper....

Remove the EGR tube at the header and cap it...

I only used one of the small feeds here so you could grab vac there?
