Incorrect fluid capacities

So i have seen multiple people reference the lmr fluid capacity chart and I have some issues...

Oil- it’s say 6 qts of 10w30? When standard is 5 qts of 5w30. So where did the extra qt come from? Also why bump up the weight when our engines already have issues with things like valves/lash adjusters which could feesibly make worse?

Some other qualms but one problem at a time because I can’t seem to find a tsb or anything talking about bumping up an oil change to 6 qts

The Mustang uses a different oil pan with larger capacity. If one were to swap in the motor from a Ford Panther without changing the oil pan, then the new donor motor would also have a capacity of 5 QT.

Oil does more than lubricate the motor. It also cools the motor. A larger oil pan has:
  • Increased heat carrying capacity.
  • Increased oil life.

No TSB because the Mustang oil capacity has always been 6 QT.
