Im in the process of installing my indiglo gauges, but I hate how they cover the bottom strip with the idiot lights. Can I cut away the strip? If so, do I have to avoid or look out for anything? Any help would be great, like I said im in middle of putting these things in my car right now. Thanks.

I need to either put these new gauges in, or put my old cluster and bezel back in my car tonight so I can go to work in the morning. Any help would be appreciated.

yeah, can you cut away that white strip so that area looks stock? I saw a pic of a 99+ setup, but the backside of my gauges has alot of outlines and such...im afraid that cutting that strip will mess up the lighting somehow.

if u cut that strip then i think none of those lights will light up because there all on that strip,i bought my car with yellow face gauges an hated them because they were yellow and because that strip your talking about was yellow and not black. i dont think cutting it away would be a good idea but a picture would really help me get a better idea. also what kind and brand gauges did you buy?

Thats what i ordered, but thats not the set that i received. I could take a pic of the front/back, but I dont have anywhere to upload it.

This guy cut his, but his bottom row didnt light up in the first place. I dont want it to light up either, but im worried that if i cut that part away, it will somehow cause the entire face to not light up.

i would say you could cut it off as long as there is no electronics running threw that area, if there is you could possible cut around it
