Info on tying in fascia foglights to running light

got the boss fascia with foglights installed (pics soon!) and would like to tie them into the running/marker lights and keep the original fogs original. thinking it will be too much draw on the circuit but does anyone know?

Use a relay....that way all the running light circuit sees is a very low voltage change required to operate the relay. Power for the fogs comes straight from the battery thru the relay.

the relay would have to run between the marker lead and foglight just to switch them on but I'd have to pull power from the battery box or smart junction box where I could find an empty spot for a fuse, not necessarily directly from the battery...correct?
