1.Used injectors from 97 cobra/2.timing cover gasket ???

I'm checkin out a set of 42lb injectors from a guy who had them in his 97 cobra. I was wondering if they work with an 88 fuel rail? Just want to make sure before I buy these suckers. It says on his listing they will, just double checking. 2nd question, I'm in the middle of my h/c/i swap and am putting the timing cover back on, the fel pro gasket set I bought came with the u gasket and cork end gaskets for the oil pan. The u shape gasket doesn't have the groove that the original one I took out has. The groove is on the oil pan, I almost thought that with the seal being compressed from the torque of tightening down the bolts made the groove in the gasket... Any ideas? I wanna get this car back together asap. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Yup, no probs. I think all injectors up to 2004 would work except the 03-04 Cobra injectors. Even those might work i'm not 100% sure
