Hey guys, my 2000 GT has been giving me problems after an x pipe install. I had bad o2 and replaced that. Then while under diagnostics and giving it a good run my intake cracked released coolant everywhere. Nevertheless, as i was removing my intake, i noticed that a ground wire by injector/piston #8 on drivers was loose or not connected to anything. I'm thinking that my partner accidently unhooked when trying to reach the o2 drivers harness. Where does this harness ground wire go and could it have caused problems like hesitation or weird throttle responses.
If possible a pic would be heaven. Thanks either way. CB

I think it goes to the back of the passenger side head. I'd have to look tonight to make sure. Maybe someone else can chime in. No reason it should of been removed to get to an o2 harness though......

There is an injector ground that goes on the rear driverside fuel rail bolt. If its not on there the car will run lean all the time and will not richen when you are at part throttle which is dangerous.

Nice!! Thanks for pic and help!! I don't think it was pulled off on purpose, i just think when he was reaching down there trying to get driver o2(at night with small shop light under car) that maybe while pulling his arm back up it popped loose. I ended up disconnecting/connecting the driver o2 from under car which was a b$tch. I doubt anybody can get to the o2 from on top anyways unless they are a freak of nature. So this ground wire just attaches to the fuel injector stud. I didn't think it reached that far...gotta check again when i install new intake.
