If you don't already know, most of the guys on this forum with turbo setups are running 35 lb. brown top injectors.

its been awhile, where (which car) would you get these from?

I have been away from mustangs and turbos for a while.
I am building a highly modified (much as my money permits) Sierra with a turbo. So I am kinda refreshing my mind on various things that cross apply.

I am looking for some good 37lb'ers I think. talikin with my enjector specialist though.

thanks for the answer!

Anytime I browse ebay for 2.3 Ford parts I see a lot of brown top injector sets on there. They also came stock in turbo-coupe's. Im not quite sure of the years, somewhere around 86-88.

I think 35's are probably to small for my project. If not, they should be easy to find. ;-)

35's are 37's if you turn the base pressure to ~45psi

83-85 TC, 84-85 SVO 30lb
85.5-88 TC, 85.5-86 SVO 35lb
Merkurs 35lb

Injectors that big don't come on any 5.0's, but they are available from the aftermarket.

injector flow is always rated at a certain PSI. Turn up your PSI you turn up your flow rate since more can leave the pintle for a given duty cycle. I forget the formula, but i was running 19lb injectors on my old IROC at 23lb by turning the fuel pressure up to 60 psi. nearly maxing the duty cycle tho and straining the fuel pump so be careful when you do it.

I have to build a whole new fuel system anyways. ;-)

my injector specialist tells me to go with 50lb/hr. I think my friend has some 40's though that he wont need by the time I get my project running.
acumulation of parts is a pain!!
