its what u want out of the car if u wanna be able to tune and tweak it real easy for like the track its ok to go carbed but i personally like efi myself.

You will run into a lot less problems if you go carb if you are building a sic motor. If you are conserned with gas milage then go fuel injected. Yes you can tune a carb motor easy but if you get the PMS then you can tune your fuel injected motor easy as well. You can make more power with a carb though.

Thats a common misconception. The fact is EFI offers more precise tuning and due to the dry intake(no atomized fuel like a carb), the runners can be alot longer. This makes for a broader torque spread without hurting power.

Back to the original question, converting to carb is neither good nor bad. It depends on what the intention is. My engine used to be in my previous '89GT with EFI. Now that it's carbed with better flowing parts the power is WAY up, but economy took about a 4-6mpg hit.
