Has anyone ever used the Dugan Racing inner fender apron covers? Got pics? Do you like them?

Talk to Dave (MansonOzz). He used them before he welded the engine bay up.

That statement pretty much says it all.

If you are not a competitive show guy or are not very anal about your car, then they are fine. They don't extend to cover the framerails on the bottom, which was a big let-down for me.

They required a lot of trimming and you're going to have to have hidden all your wires, solenoid, etc. already or it's going to take forever to get them put on. Other than that, they go right on and look a lot better than most. Of course, the fresh paint on them will make the rest of the engine bay look like crap, and if you don't trim they properly you will get gaps all over the place.

Here's a pic before I was able to pull my engine and put some real time into smoothing everything out:

And here it is after it was "done right". The pic isn't the best, but compare the two pictures around the top of the strut towers and you'll get my point:

Dave, was the strut tower hole already cut open? Or did you have to trim that up yourself..

For the Powerpipe? There was a small hole there already which was plugged by a black plastic cap (I think it was where the washer res. hole was on the older Fox bodies). I just started with that and enlarged it little by little while checking fitment.

No dave, not the powerpipe, the STRUT TOWER, where the sturt bolts to, the big holes in the cover, did they come pre cut?

Oh, I didn't even realize you were talking about the fender cover. Yes the holes on top were pre-cut.

Like I said, unless you're really anal or on the show field, it will be good for you. Otherwise you're going to be upset that they aren't perfect.

stang8urmprt, look at the top of the strut towers, you can see where the fiberglass is cut open on the 1st pic. Also all the non-strut tower area has different paint and didn't match.

I have mine in now....Everything fit good except around the bottom framerails....I took my fenders loose and put them underneath them...body lines still match up perfectly...It is at the paint shop now but will post pic. when I get it back...Oh yeah I also molded the top of the strut towers to the panel...It made a world of difference
