hey guys..wondering if anyone could share some advice. My 04 mustang gt is in need of an inner tie rod...pretty simple with tie rod removal tool. Anything needed to do to prevent any damage to the rack when replacing? I would go ahead and replace the rack but i only have 54,000 on it. Thank!

If I had it to do over again I would have simply replaced the entire rack (this was on my son's 92 FOX).
