Anyone installed one of the Fords Racing 306's in their car? I was curious what kind of rwhp or track times they got. Are Ford's head equal to TFS heads? Is the cam worthwhile to keep in or should it be swapped out? I wanted a suitable powerplant for a SN95 that will allow it to crack the 12's NA then I plan on adding a SC later.

talk to Woody @strokeme at Fordstrokers.com or Rick @Rick 91GT at rnhperformance. They will steer you right and definitely away from a Ford crate motor for good reason

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

Overpriced and underpowered. You are much better off with a set of Trick Flow heads.

I agree on that one.....what's your budget? What are your intentions with the car?

Pass, that motor won't make anywhere near 340, probably not even at the flywheel. The two engine builders mentioned will get you more HP than that for probably less money.

Saw a post awhile back a guy had one and dynoed somewhere between 250-270 rear horse. But you would have a brand new motor
