Brand New Ford Racing 306 Crate Motor. Need Suggestions!

I just came up on a brand new ford racing 306 crate motor for $1800. Motor hasnt been touched. Still in the shipping crate! http://www.latemodelrestoration.com...Mustang-Ford-Racing-306ci-340-HP-Crate-Engine

I figured it was a great deal any way you put it. It has the aluminum GT40x heads on it and an E303 cam.. I'm just wondering what kind of EFI intake would be best for this set up? Any suggestions would be great! thanks!

Just to let you know, the block and crank are used. Ford hasn't made 5.0 blocks for a while.
"- Seasoned block and precision ground crankshaft"

As long as the block and crank are within specs, they will be fine for mild->mid mods. But, IMHO, you may want to think twice before you put on something like a supercharger, nitrous, etc.

If it's a real gt40 crate engine, it will be built well.
I wouldn't hesitate to do anything to it that you would to any other engine.

Don't go too nuts on the intake and that engine makes for a pretty well rounded car.
If it were mine, i'd put a real gt40 tubular intake on it.

I like the edelbrock stuff t00.
Holley, not so much.
