ok...so im putting a t5 from a 95gt in my fox with the bellhousing and everything. the input shaft is long from what i hear. can i take the input shaft off my tremec that just blew up off and put it on the t5, or can i get a input shaft from a parts store and put it on to temp fix the issue?
You can put an 85-93 T5 input shaft on it, but then your bell housing is still too long which ushers in a whole new set of problems. With your current set up, the trans is only moved back 3/4", so measure the drive shaft yoke, and where the shifter sits in the shifter hole and see if you can just use what you already have.
