Anyone have pictures of the inside of the dash where the toggle switches are? Trying to find what I need to fix my dash so that Ford can order the parts for me. I've tried looking at junkyard Mustangs but they've been gutted totally.

Thanks

what toggle switches? I have only one switch, for the head lights. There is a place for 3 rocker switches down under the stereo, is that what you want?

Yup, those 3 switches underneath the stereo on 01-04, not sure about 99-00. Is there some sort of plate holding them on or are the toggle switches themselves self holding? I'm not sure what parts I need for Ford and I'm not sure what they look like normal? If anyone has any pictures of these three switches please let me know.

They are puch button switches that are attatched to the console and have a plug in harness in the back. To get to them remove the shifter knob. Put your hand inside the shifter boot at one side and lift up then do the other side. The rear will slide up once those 2 are up. Sorry but I can't remember what all 3 switches are but one is for traction lock if the car has it and the far left one is rear window defroster.

Thanks guys! So I would need to order 2 new push button switches to replace the ones that got broken? They just sort of hang inside of that panel loose without the clips on them to hold them into place and secure. The wiring harness is ok and the buttons still work; they just won't stay put in the panel/console. I saw on another thread where the guy was rewiring and redoing his dash that had pictures of the the push button switches but I wasn't sure if the clips that were on them belonged to the panel/console piece or to the switches themselves.

In my car the traction lock button is always lit up orange??? Does that mean its stuck on because pressing it does nothing... What exactly is it suppose to do?

Traction control put simply is supposed to disengage or stop the tires from spinning in the event the car loses traction. According to the manual you're supposed to turn it off for : rain, snow, sleet, ice, and just about any other substance that can make a car lose traction but leave on for gravel. * shrugs * just what the book says. Personally I'd rather not have my car second guessing my driving so I turn mine off.
