Hi,

I just bought the magnaflow X-Pipe and headers. I received my headers and exhaust few days ago. I installed my headers, and i wonder if i should wait for my x-pipe before installing the exhaust.. or if it doesn’t change anything if i put everything in place... Will it be more difficult or easy.. What do you think about it.

Thanks,

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

I'm not getting the question. By exhaust, do you mean the cat back? The x-pipe is part of the exhaust.

Ok so I bought:
Magnaflow Catback Exhaust 94-98 GT and Cobra at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!
Magnaflow Tru-X Catted X-Pipe for the 1994-1995 Mustang GT and Cobra at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!
BBK Equal Length Headers (94-95 5.0L) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

I already installed the Header. I received the exhaust but not the x-pipe... I was wondering if i should start to install the exhaust now and when i will receive the x-pipe i will just insert it.. I just want to make everything easier.. I just want to know if it's harder to install the exhaust after or before the x-pipe...

wait to install the cat-back until the x-pipe comes in.
if you install the cat-back now, with the factory h-pipe,your going to have to adjust it to the h-pipe.
then, when you install the x-pipe your going to have to re-adjust it.
just wait and do it once.

Oh yeah, definately do the X-pipe first. The aftermarket intermediaries have a tendancy to be a different length from stock, which causes the exhaust pipes to come farther back, and be different lengths.

Those look like BBK equal length headers. If so, it's the same that I have. Make sure you get some good spark plug wire management clips and put some thought into routing your plug wires. It will save you alot of aggravation in the future.. The headers work great, just have to pay more attention to where you put your plug wires to keep from burning them and the boots.
