Not a bad price for the whole kit, I just worry about it being a "rebuild". Then again, I think I would rather pay D&D and get a rebuilt t-56 than have mine rebuilt by some local company. I really havent heard anything bad about D&D, maybe someone else can speak about dealings with them.

I was thinking that I had dealt with them... but I think it's a different D&D out of Cali that I got my front suspension parts from.

I have that kit. It's working smoothly so far. It does make little noise but nothing annoying. They put Cobra R ratios in the trans. For example, 1st gear is 2.97 instead of 2.66. Think of it as a modified 03 Cobra T56.

where can you get the 'viper' spec w/ the 2.66 ratios? i need the lowest ratios available to make my 4.10s more suitable

^ D&D sells them

But unless you're putting down some hp, that 2.66 ratio will slow you down, even with the 4.10s. The .50 6th gear ratio could bog you down as well. The low ratio was designed for the Viper's brute low end tq, so it might be a bit much for an N/A modular 4.6
