WooHoo, I finaly got it in last night. I pulled the old block out with the trans still attached and it only took like 2hrs of me taking my time. Got my pickup off the stock shortblock and installed my oil pump, pump DS, pickup, and pan after that.

BAD news is that when I took off the t-5 the clutch was in bad shape, so it looks like I will be waiting to get the t-5 back in until next tues.

GOOD news the engine is sitting in the engine bay bolted up to the motor mounts needing about 15-20 min of work getting plugs/wires/pullies/one bracket put back one and that end will be totaly done.

I will try to get some pics as soon as I can get to the digi cam...

With shipping to St. Louis was like $2,200ish or something like that, I got the Pro Bullet 306 (non-long rod) forged flat top pro lite pistons, forged rods, race prepped crank, CNC'd block, blueprinted, ball., DSS main support. DSS is in Ill. so I am sure shipping was on the cheaper end.

awesome man! i hope to get my car back today with my DSS in, after 2 months! good luck with it man.

Damn man, you dropped that off when I was just getting ready to get the stuff to put my motor together, now mines in and yours is still up in the air....Good luck getting the car back, I would be livid, HOPE you get yours back real soon man.

good to hear it's in. It's a great feeling when you get it done and finally fire it up. I hope you don't have to chase gremlins like I've been doing the past week

Great! Let us know your dyno, track times and impressions as you get em. Best of luck with it.

I will be posting up that info as soon as I get it for sure :nice: . Bad news though as I said the clutch is not in good shape, Looks like I am going to miss the Group Dyno day :( here in St. Louis. However, I just found out that another local shop is getting a dyno and a very, very wise n2o street/perf. racer is going to be doing/helping out so I will probably go that route shortly after I get it running/broke in to use the Wideband o2.
