Installed my new Super 40 Flows today.

I just had them welded into the stock system. Also installed a drop in K&N at the same time. Really woke the car up. I didn't have the raspy hollow "mustang" sound I was expecting. More of a deep rumble that opens up at high rpms. There is a drone at 2000rpm but its not irritating. In the end I was surprised, but it was a pleasant surprise.

Glad to hear everything went ok. All flowmasters have that drone around 2000rpm. Welcome to the boards.

My ram has a dual exit regular 40 series that ends in 2 turndowns under the bed, and it drones from about idle to redline. But I like it anyway, car alarms dont.
