Finally got around to installing a shifter on my Tremec 3550 other than stock. There are a few things I like which are the stops that's about it. Different position shift points completely it's like im' in 3rd while I'm only in 1st now.
When I put my pro 5.0 on my T5 I didnt like the weird mechanical feeling at first... now I cant seem to live without it and I HATE driving stock shifter stangs... you'll get used to it and then you'll love it. give it time...
WHich is the tremec where the shifter moves over automatically so you are already lined up for the shift to third?
I've driven a "tremec" with a pro-5.0 on it and i thought the way the shifter worked was cool. It always centered in the 3-4 line no matter if you were in 1st or 2nd. SO when you wanted to bang third, just nail it straight up. I liked that
