Installed Steeda Quadrant? Get in here...

I just got my new Steeda Clutch kit. Took out the old cable. Took out the old qudrant ( after about an hour of cursing it and the sun). Tried to put in the Quad and the damn thing won't fit. It can catch both holes but a part of the stering column keeps me from fully installing it. What am I missing? Do I have to modify something? I want to get it in and get the dash back together before the sun goes down.
HELP!

You shouldnt have to remove much from the dash, I would pull out the front seat, lay under there and work with it, It should slide on, unless you have it upside down. good luck

you know, I thought the geometry of the new quadrant looked a little wierd. All this time I thought the Steeda folks made the pic in the instructions look backwards just to mess with peoles heads. Anyway, it's on and all is good. Cute kid by the way.
