Installing a NAV and need wiring help

AVN5435.

Where is the easiest/convenient/safest etc. place to tap the "speed pulse" wire and the "reverse" wire.

I am placing the GPS antenna on top of the dash at the middle rather than one side of the dash. Is this an alright location or will I encounter a lot of calibration problems?

This is for a 2000GT Manual

I think it used to be a grey wire with a black tracer and if the radio has a speed control volume,you can it behind the radio or youll have to go to the guage cluster.

The reverse wire is going to be found in the kick panel look going to the rear,im not sure on the color there,its been a while.

The GPS ant. doesnt have to be in the center,as long as it has straight shot for satellite to pick it up,it isnt that much harder to to run the wire along the top of the dash,just so it looks more balanced
