Hey guys, so I want to replace my current, beat up Shaker 500 (the black on the buttons tends to wear off over time) in my 2008 Bullitt with another, identical Shaker 500 unit. I don't listen to it that often (I'd rather hear the car), but I'm happy with the sound, so I'm not looking to upgrade, just a simple stock head unit swap. I've sourced the new head unit, with the exact same part number and it came out of a 2008 Mustang GT as well.
Will installing it require any programming, or will it basically be plug and play, since it is essentially THE same unit that came out of it?
