Installing a Spoiler

hey all,
just got a good deal on a saleen wing. i want to put it on even though it doesn't match(black) and it going to have to come off for paint anyways. but thats a long ways down the road. anyways i remember on my previous gt that there was this material inbetween the hatch and spoiler? does anyone know what to use in its place or if there is a replacement, i dont want water seaping through the holes and leaking into the trunk

My old 90 had a Saleen wing on it for a little while before I sold the wing to a friend and traded the car for my 95. I just cleaned it up good and put down some RTV around the holes. The wing didn't want to come off when I took the screws out without a little effort, so I'd bet it sealed them up well. I never saw any water in the interior.

I used rubber washers from Ace Hardware on the studs to seal mine up when I swapped it.
