I'm installing a X-pipe tomorrow on my 1999 cobra.

Is there anything I need to know about installing a x-pipe?

What will make things easier?

Any Tips?

Thanks

Band aids and a 12 pack of beer. Profanity is your freind, it will aid in loosening bolts just as much if not better than PB blaster.

+1 on the PB blaster. That sh1t is amaZAzing. You'll also need a long ass extension for your socket wrench (about a foot or longer) and a swivel for the socket. Do the passenger side first because it's a BITCH.

I would get a buddy to help you with it. It will be so much easier. A couple jacks will help in keeping your catback in place when you unbolt the factory h-pipe. Just put them under your mufflers when you have the car on jack stands.

Thanks everyone for the help.

It took me and my buddy about three hours which included an hour of cool down with a nice beer

Those cats stay hot..

Yes, the passager side was a bitch, but PB Blaster helped

It really wasn't that hard with the right tools. Air gun was nice.
