Installing CD player....

Happy Holidays everyone!

I want to re-locate my CD player so that it's closer to the shifter. I would like to mount the player perpendicular to the ground in a custom console I'll be building. Question is, will any CD player work at this angle or will I need to find one specifically for this? If none work at this angle, how about more like 90 degrees?

I dont know if they are designed to run that way but I know when I was installing the CD player in my truck I was holding it perpeindecular to the ground and it was playing the CD when I was checking that the wiring was correct.

i dont see why it wouldnt work. did you mean 45 degrees?
