Ok, dropping in a new motor and decided to put in after market gauges, I got a polished aluminum mount that they fit into which will fit in center heat duct in my dash, my question is which is the best way to plumb the gauges, theres three, oil pressure , heat and voltage

welcome to the boards!

you could give more info. are the oil and coolant temp (i think that is what you mean) electric or mechanical?

most like to run a feed wire and piggy back the connections to each gauge.
i.e. connect the lighting ground feed to the first gauge. then run a wire from that post to the next gauge. then run a wire to the third gauge.

do this for the grounds and for the 12 volt lighting, and for 12 volt feed (electric gauges). then you will have one sender wire for each gauge.

good luck.

the oil and temp gauges are mechanical so it is a matter of where is the best place to put the holes to plumb the hard lines, i know i got to drill the firewall but i dont want it to look like swiss cheese either , need to figure out about where to drill the holes especially without hitting something else
