The Edelbrock head gaskets that I ordered from Jegs didn't come with any instructions ( part num 7313 ) & I just need to know if I need to apply any kind of sealer to them before installing or do they just go on dry?

Edelbrocks tech dept is closed on the weekends so I can't give them a call & I came up empty when doing a "search".

The heads are cast-iron if that makes any difference.

Thanks...

As far as I know, all head gaskets are installed dry.

Almost all modern head gaskets are composites and are installed dry. The old stamped steel ones needed an additional sealant.

ALSO, be sure that you put the part of the gasket that says "front" to the front of the motor, on both sides. One will appear to be upside down, but that is normal.
