Installing MSD Ignition

I am buying an MSD Ignition Coil and a 6A ignition Box for my 87 GT 5.0. Question is, would I need to buy an MSD distributor, or would the MSD cap and rotor Kit with stock distributor would do fine in this setup?

Your distributor will work fine, you don't even need to buy the MSD cap and roter, i actually like the FRPP with brass connections.

Depending on you mods is how much power you will make. For most mild street setups the stock ignition is more than adequate and you will not see any more power by adding the MSD.

JUST TRYING TO SAVE ON GAS TOO!! SOME OF THIS GAS PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS. BUT LOOKING REALLY ON MILEAGE AND THROTTLE RESPONSE.
