Installing new radiator

Ill take the garden hose and run water into the thermostat housing(without the thermostat in there). put a bucket underneath the lower hose, hold the end of the hose shut with my hand, fill up the engine with the other then remove my hand on the lower hose and let it drain out.. Ill do this untill it starts to clear up.

If you have a way to seal the garden hose to the lower radiator hose, you can do it bottom up. then just catch what comes out of the manifold.

also install a GANO filter in your upper hose. That will catch anything thats still in there before it gets to your radiator. Just have to check it from time to time cause they do catch alot of stuff and it will get clogged.

I have a Tefba inline filter and it works great. I'd recommend installing one after flushing.

I JUST did this last weekend, I took the lower hose off of the radiator and shoved a waterhose in there and stuffed a rag in to somewhat seal it off and cranked the waterhose up full blast. Then I cranked the car and it took about 1 minute, it sucked the fresh water up and blew the funky water out and was pumping clear fresh water. Then let it all drain out and install your new radiator. The engines intake water from the bottom and discharge it out the top. Some may say that there isnt enough water flow for this to work, well they are wrong, plus its not like you are running your car wide open, just let it idle for a minute or 2 and you should be cleared up.
