I have a 1991 mustang gt with ssbc system . after it was installed the parking brake cables were never installed. I havent used the car in past few years and want to start using it. can anyone guide me through hookup or ideas. Im am not really brake savvy. Its my weak area:shrug:

There are 2 palces to look for help:
1.) See 87-93 Mustang 5.0 Brake upgrade pages. Improve your 60-0 times! for the best and cheapest brake upgrades and 5 lug swaps. The site doesn't sell anything but some fittings, but the tech notes are great. It tells you what junkyard or remanufactured parts to use to upgrade your brakes. It has almost everything you could want to know about Mustang brakes on it.

2.) See Mustang Central.net FMS M2300K Brake Install for help with the emergency brake. The red words link to some very useful photos on how to modify the handle. The stock setup tends to lock up and not release properly.

thanks for that info. I will look at it. The place that installed the kit wasnt familiar with it and at the time i wasnt able to persue it . Finally 10 years later  i am getting a chance to finish up loose ends. I havent used car in over five yrs
