I got my manual its a autometer lunar.

Anyways it says to hook up the green wire to the COIL or ELECTRONIC IGNITION. Dont wanna sound like a dumbass but where do I hook this up? Pics would help but dont worry if u dont have one.

Also it says to hook up the RED to the ignition switch, where can I find this?

Last but not least

White to 12V dash lighting wheres the easiest source for this?

It also says to hook up the negative to a good ground, shows a pic of the battery - that is not nesscary is it? Couldnt I just find a nice spot of metal behind my dash somewhere, scrape off the paint and ground it there?

THANKS!!

if you have a stock ignition, the tach wire can go to the neg side of the coil.

for 12 volts, you can pretty much source any key-on 12 volt source that is close to your guage. i do grounds the same way. i find a nice clean one (ohm it out to be sure - tachs are finicky) and use it.

for the dimmer, you can grab the dimmer wire at the back of the headlight switch or tap into a wire that dims (at the radio, HVAC, dash clock, ashtray light, etc).

good luck.

ok well I guess ill use my cd deck for 12V, and use my AC contols etc for the dimmer. For ground should I tap into my cd deck ground or just make a new fresh one? Either way doesnt bother me.

What do you mean ohm out the ground?

Where is my coil located? I never knew it had a + and a - I thought my plug wire just pluged right on to it...im confuised now? Ignition coil? or what coil? Anyone got a pic of this?

well it would be the part that your main "plug" wire goes to from the dist. but right next the heavy spark wire, is a lighter pair of wires coming from the engine harness. ones marked + the -, i dont remember if you have to unplug it to see which is which.
