I am looking at a Mustang GT as a summer car. I already have another car that I would use as my winter car/bad weather car. However, I wont be able to pay full insurance on both of them year round. I've heard that I can get coverage for the stang for the summer only and coverage for my other car for the winter only (instead of paying for both). Does anyone here have something like that worked out for their insurance? Thanks in advance for any info/advice!

Yes, I do that. Comprehensive only on the Mustang during winter, Comprehensive only on the beater during summer.

That should be the cheapest way to do it.
All you do is call and add or drop a vehicle. In fact, I have USAA and I can actually make changes online to my policy. I laugh when they ask how many miles do you drive a week 
My one friend told his insurance 20 miles weekly when he was WAY over that. I guess it got him a lower quote
