Damn bolt stripped out 1/2 way (Second one in on the passenger side from the front). Threads pulled out halfway up and stayed on the bolt. I can get a longer bolt to grab the existing threads and torque down.

DO I risk that something fell in though.....or does anyone think it is ok in the valley??? The motor is out of the car, brand new but sealed and dried for about a week now.

FML......thoughts, insight idea.....I really don't want to pull it apart and redo but. Safe than sorry. I just don't think anything or substance fell in.

It's just an intake, pull it off.
The smallest parts that land up in an engine can do major damage.

Take the intake off and fix the threads, like stated above, better to do it now and have no worries.

For poops and giggles, I got a 2 1/2 bolt with two washers and dropped it in the hole. Torqued right up to spec and sits nicely. So that was a fun experiment.
