Intake gasket question on gt40 intake

What vehicle did the GT-40 intake come on from the factory,... i went to buy the upper to lower gasket and just said GT-40 intake and the guy said i need a make and model of what it came stock on. The only thing i can think of is the cobra r but i dont know what year

You can use the plenum gasket for 97-00 explorers.

The cobra intake came in the 93cobra.

The gt-40 intakes was not on any factory car.?.

Cobra + GT-40 + Explorer = same gaskets

Just ask for gaskets for a 96 Explorer - it should work on Cobra, Explorer and GT40.

yup an explorer gasket from 96-00 will work, and it was only like 5 bucks !!! I just did it on mine when i polished my upper....

The lightning had a real GT40, but with the 351 base.

The SAAC cars had GT40 aluminum heads and GT40 intake.

The SAAC isn't really a production car, but close enough.
