I have a 97 Gt that is basicly stock, but has a roush intake (i think) and a K and N filter that has no air box, The air silencer is also removed, Im not too sure about this because I bought this car used and did not have a chance to speak with the owner but if anyone can tell me if its good to not have the air box or not. I can post pictures if anyone needs them.

Dont quote me i'm its not gonna hurt nothing to run without the air box. Performance wise there would be an extremely minimul amount of diffrence either way

i agree...you might lose a small amount of hp .... 3-5hp max... but you'll never notice such a minimal amount in loss or gain...
