well, my car rolled 77k last night and i lefted the hood while stopped at a mini-car show last night and smelled coolant. never smelled it until now, and i looked today to find a little puddle of coolant around my thermostat housing and down in the resevior between the cylinder banks. so, where can i get a PI intake manifold? i dont want to go with the levernios kit becuase i dont have 650 bucks. and im not getting another manifold with the plastic coolant crossover. at least i was already planning on doing the swap at the end of the month. to those that have done the swap without the kit, did you use a gasket and if so which one did you use? and what specific RTV sealant did you use. and where and how did you tap for the other coolant sensor. thanks for the info.

The latest PI intake doesn't use plastic on the crossover. I've seen it for 189 bucks.

Hi,

Where did you see it for that price? Who makes it?

I need a new intake manifold for my 1999 GT. Anyone, please give me brand names, prices, and where to purchase. I have read a few intake manifold threads, and most of the I/M are 600 to 1000+ bucks . Anything more affordable yet better quality than what came stock with the 99 gt?

Thank you very much.

That would be a factory Ford replacement. Any aftermarket intakes I have seen are big bucks!!
