Hi All,

I did some searches, but couldn't readily find the info I need. My intake blew up last weekend, and I bought a replacement. I got the FRPP model with the aluminum crossover part #M-9424-P46

Anyway, it didn't come with a new gasket for where the intake mounts to the block, so I need to get one. Do you know a good place to get one that's a decent price?

Thanks!

Yeah, I ended up biting the bullet and just buying them from Ford. They quoted me a price of $39 over the phone, but when I went down there, they said it was a mistake and it cost $50. Oh well.

FWIW, you can also buy gaskets at checker auto, autozone, etc. They were ~$32 (cheapest I found), and were some knockoff brand, Fel Pro or something. I figured that I may as well go with Ford OEM stuff, especially when I thought the price difference was $7, not $18.

I also learned that most people just reuse the stock gaskets when replacing their intake. If mine look good, I may just end up doing that and taking these back.

someone used the stockers when mine was replaced. its been nothing but a huge headache, and fouled plugs/destroyed cop's. i would never re-use the original gaskets.
