intake manifold gasket question

pretty much, yes. i haven't seen a car where it could have been reused, except for the upper to lower gasket intake gasket.

when you take the manifold off the car, and put it back on do you have to put a new gasket on it?

cool, im takin the upper manifold off to polish it, but i gotta put it back on to go to work everyday haha

just polish it on the car...it will be a pita but easier than having to put it back on everyday

but if i left it on the car to polish it, want that look like a half ass job because i wont b able to polish the whole thing

i used the same intake gaskets on my carbed car and no problems but of course they are not too old

at any rate..that is gonna be a lot of work that you dont need to do. and youll eventually strip something out...it always happens sooner or later...and unless you plan on doing it in a couple days is just gonna be a pita to do it. its a lot of work

strip one of the bolts out or something...ya know, you dont mess something up all the time, but eventually you will. i dont know

well i never took it off before but if their that easily stripped i guess ill leave it on

there not and to do it right you should take it off youll miss alot if you dont

no, theyre not that easily stripped....im just saying that a week or two of constantly taking off and putting back on you will eventually strip something just because of sure carelessness or bad luck
