Intake manifold

There are only a couple aftermarket intakes available. Bullitt, Ricard racing and Fox Lake P51. There are several upper plenums that are availabe. IMO, Accufab is the best.

I really like the Ricard Racing, looks pretty sweet. Upper and lower all in one, almost looks like an old "high riser". I read somewhere that this intake was capable of like 20hp increase. I don't know if this was rwhp, but $2000 is a bit pricy.

I do like my bullitt intake though. :D
Probably the cheapest too. :spam:

nope, none are legal. i think some of the plenums are legal. also if you stang is newer than 01, you cant use the bullitt because you are pulling on parts from an older engine. that is unless there is an EO for them that i dont know about. i work for the referee so we get asked stuff like that all the time.

the Reichard and Fox Lake intakes are WAY TOO MUCH for a street car that does not have a huge blower, ported heads and cams. also cost way too much money. just buy an Accufab, TFS, or C&L upper plenum and a matching TB and you can make good power down the road with more mods. T&J has run a stock lower intake with upper plenum and stock heads to the tune of over 600rwhp so you will be good for a long time.

cool, upper and lower for $700, finally something remotely affordable, but they are claiming only 15 hp, an accufab tb/plenum will get you 11 alone, md tested the p-51 on a bone stock stang and got 21 hp, but its 1200 bucks, now if the fox lake was as much as the hps...

How did you find out that they tested a P51 at MD????? And why do you think it was on a bone stock car?????
