please forgive my ignorance, when i removed my original intake it had this mount but its been a few months since then and i forget where the damned thing belongs and of course i didnt catch it in any of my pictures i took while taking it apart. i went with an edelbrock 3821 performer intake so im not putting the stock manifold back on. anyone recognize this piece and know where its home is? do i need it for the edelbrock intake?

Never understood what it was for, I knew where it went but didn't replace it.

I've heard either ground strap, or anti theft bar. I don't think either is right, and haven't seen one on a fox in years.

I have no idea where mine is

Mine is still on my car, when I had my intake off a while back I just put it back on. Couldn't tell you what the hell it was for though. What the hell is that thing there for????

I always thought is was there for strength do to the design/weight of the plenum causing stress on where the upper and lower meet.
