Intake porting

How can an answer be given before the question is asked?

The Cobra upper does not need to be ported to support the AFR heads, but the lower does. Check out the website in my signature and use the email link there if you want to ask questions.

tmoss - what's your opinion on what needs to be done to the TrickFlow Street Heat intake to support the AFR heads? I didn't see this intake addressed on your website.

i think the trick flow is modeled after the edelbrock right, so i'd be the same- but what tmoss does is make it all less restrictive and free flowing, much more than stock- so it's gonna be about the same reasoning for any plenum you choose

and dammit 17yearOld '18yearOld' - stop posting before the quesiton is asked

The gains to be had from porting a Street Heat for AFR heads are probably not worth it, even for the $130 I charge. The Street Heat is supposed to flow about 245cfm @ .500" lift and the AFR 165/185 heads flow in the 250cfm neighborhood at the same lift.
